Which lightsaber should I get?

There are 2 different types of lightsabers. The first is a base lit saber where the blade is essentially a hollow plastic tube that an LED in the hilt lights up. These sabers are found in the padawan series. These sabers are phenomenal for dueling because their hollow blade is not only extremely durable, but in case they do break, they are easy to replace.

The other type of saber is called neopixel. These sabers have dozens of tiny LEDs running up and down the blade. These LEDs allow for incredible effects that you wouldn't be able to get on a base lit model. neopixel blades are also great for dueling, especially with the effects such as flash on clash and blade lock up. The main difference between the two is that neopixel allows for maximum brightness, even light distribution throughout the blade, and animations that look great in person and on camera.
